Join us on April 30th following the 2:30PM screening of Memoria for a post-film discussion led by Ellen Ito and David Dinnell.
More about our hosts:
Ellen Ito is an artist, curator, podcaster and museum worker from Seattle, presently living and working in Tacoma. Recent programming work explores the intersection of foodways and personal identity with a focus on contemporary craft. Currently developing a documentary project inspired by the life of sociologist Gordon Hirabayashi.
David Dinnell is the Director and Programmer of the Tacoma Film Festival. Prior to joining the Grand Cinema in 2018, he was Visiting Faculty at the California Institute of the Arts and had curated a series of retrospective film programs for Canyon Cinema's 50th anniversary which toured internationally throughout 2017 & 2018.
