Groundhog Day

The Grand challenges the most patient, enterprising, and masochistic film enthusiasts amongst us to a new task: how many times can you watch GROUNDHOG DAY on GRANDhog Day? In the 1993 cult-classic, a narcissistic TV weatherman, along with his attractive-but-distant producer and his mawkish cameraman, is sent to report on Groundhog Day in the small town of Punxsutawney, where he finds himself repeating the same day over and over. Now, you can choose to suffer the same fate: 1. Buy as many tickets as you feel brave enough to get through. Open seating; typical weekday pricing and discounts apply; Tacoma Creates and Member Monday discount do not apply. 2. Pick up your punchcard from our Master of Ceremonies when you arrive at your first screening and get your card punched after each watch. 3. When you’ve given up, turn in your punchcard: for every successful viewing over one, you’ll receive a Gold Pass to your future Grand movie of choice. 4. Make it through all four screenings? You'll be entered to win a FREE YEAR OF MOVIES AT THE GRAND—and leave with at least double the Gold Passes (6) for your trouble and glory. Enjoy even more contests and festivities throughout the day! There will be 20+ minute breaks between showtimes for repeat Grandhoggers to use the bathroom, get fresh air, or grab a bite. You may be required to leave the theater between screenings. Outside food is not allowed inside the theater (lobby and lounge is ok). No sleeping, scrolling, reading, leaving during the film, or otherwise NOT watching to participate in this challenge. This is a serious event for a serious holiday, ok?!RomancePT1H41MPG2026-02-02
