Tacoma Film Festival to wind down with award-winning "Thin Skin" Thin Skin Still

Winners have just been announced for the 16th annual Tacoma Film Festival. Awards include Best Narrative Feature, Best Direction, Best Screenplay and many more.

Tim Kinsella stars in Brilliant's submission to Tacoma Film Festival 2021. Screenings are schedules for 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, and 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12.  

Filmmaker Pete Ohs brings "Youngstown" to Tacoma Film Festival Youngstown - Sarah Jayne - New Dawn

The director discusses his novel approach to this year's centerpiece, civic pride, and his love of Tacoma. He previously won two TFF awards with "Everything Beautiful is Far Away" in 2017.  "Youngstown" will screen at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8.

Passes to the 2019 Tacoma Film Festival will be available for purchase starting Friday, May 10 with a special flash sale for VIP passes: from Friday, May 10 through Saturday, May 11, VIP passes may be purchased for $100.

That’s a wrap for the 13th Annual Tacoma Film Festival, and dare we say, may be our best yet! 
We had record attendance this year for 25 feature films, 150 short films, and 10 virtual reality presented October 4–11, 2018. 

We’d like to send an enormous congratulations to all of our 2018 Juried Award Winners, as well as our Audience Choice Winners.
