1. Muoy Lean Chhnam (A Million Years)

Cambodia | 2018 | 21 min | Danech San
A young woman relaxes at a riverfront. She recounts stories from her past, finding enchantment in the river’s flows and nearby mountains. WA State Premiere

2. Our Song to War

Belgium/Colombia | 2018 | 14 min | Juanita Onzaga
Crocodile-men, a mystic river, some kids that like fishing and a war that ends share the same Colombian land; Bojaya. In this place, villagers have strange beliefs and celebrate the “Novenario” death ritual. This might be the beginning of a very long story, where spirits and humans meet each other to learn what is there to life after the end of war. WA State Premiere

3. The Exile

Sri Lanka | 2018 | 7 min | Rajee Samarasinghe
Shot improvisationally in 2010, shortly after the end of the Sri Lankan civil war, this film takes a lyrical approach to examining recent history and the process of reconstruction in the post-war era. The visions of an exile are carried through an immoral silence, to an end both dubious and bittersweet. WA State Premiere

4. Arrow

US | 2019 | 26 min | Julia Pello
Weaving together two stories over several locations, including an unnamed forest lined with canyons, an inter-tribal community center, and a roadside American Indian museum on a farm in Wisconsin, Arrow is a reflection on cultural continuity, disappearance, and transformation in the wake of historical forces and the passage of time. US Premiere. Filmmaker will be in attendance.
