Join us at the 7pm Screening of All the Beauty and the Bloodshed on Monday 2/13 for a presentation from Chelsea Amato of the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department's Opioid Task Force. After the film, she'll be here to answer questions and discuss how opioid abuse affects our communities as well as sharing ways to become involved in solutions.
More about the Speaker
Chelsea Amato is the Tacoma-Pierce County Opioid Task Force Coordinator. The Task Force, a joint effort between Pierce County, City of Tacoma, Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department and Elevate Health, is a regional response to the opioid crisis. The Task Force promotes positive behavioral health and well-being and works to reduce substance use related stigma. Its committees focus on prevention, education, access to treatment and transportation and anti-stigma.
