Join us for a discussion following the 12:30 p.m. screening of Spotlight led by Kate Martin from The News Tribune.

Kate Martin covers the city of Tacoma at The News Tribune. Her expertise in computer databases and Washington state public records law has helped her expose misdeeds in a county assessor's office and investigate the city of Tacoma's use of high-tech cellphone surveillance equipment. Three school board members resigned after she exposed the board's misspending of millions of dollars in an investigation spanning two years. Her work has led to the passage of two state laws.
