December 13th 6:25pm

Join us for a discussion of Seed: the Untold Story following the 6:25 p.m. screening on Tuesday, December 13 led by Ulysses Martin.

In 2014, Ulysses Martin founded the local Permaculture Lifestyle Institute, a Green Infrastructure development nonprofit to assist front line communities with information, education, planning, design, and development. In 2015 he was a finalist in Tacoma’s Green Infrastructure Design Challenge where he showcased his engineered Urban Chinampa storm water system.

He works as a civil engineer with Washington’s State Department of Transportation and has resided in Tacoma’s Eastside neighborhood since 1975. He enjoys playing and learning with his children at the Swan Creek Park Food Forest and Garden.

Held in our lower lobby, post-film discussions at The Grand Cinema offer audience members the opportunity to discuss new films and expand their movie-going experience beyond the screen in a fun environment. Look for new discussions every week!
