Post Film Discussion - Carol
January 9th 12:15pm
Join us for a discussion following the 12:15 p.m. screening of Carol, led by sweet pea Flaherty, owner of King's Books, and Michael Rings, visiting Professor of Philosophy at Pacific Lutheran University, specialist in philosophy of art and ethics.
Based on the novel "The Price of Salt" by Patricia Highsmith and directed by Todd Haynes (Far From Heaven, I'm Not There), Carol is "dizzying, a perfect evocation of the swan-dive of love." (Sheila O'Malley, rogerebert.com)
Held in our lower lobby, post-film discussions at The Grand Cinema offer audience members the opportunity to discuss new films and expand their movie-going experience beyond the screen in a fun environment. Look for new discussions every week!
