Open Caption Wednesdays
March 23rd
In order to best serve our patrons who are deaf or hard of hearing, or who prefer viewing with captions, we present our films with open captioning each Wednesday. We include this service on as many films and on every screening that we can.

WHAT IS OPEN CAPTIONING?
Open captioning is a text display of words and sounds heard during an event. The display is positioned in such a way that it is open for anyone to see in all four of our theaters. It is considered passive assistance, a service that is there to use or ignore.
We understand that captioning can be distracting for those who do not use it, but we are committed to making The Grand Cinema a welcoming community space for everyone. If you do not use the captions, we appreciate your consideration for those who do.
