Nicky Salapu, goalkeeper for the American Samoa national football team, featured in the film, will be here to watch the movie, talk about his experience, and answer audience questions.

Directed by Academy Award Winner Taika Waititi (Jojo Rabbit, Thor: Ragnarok), NEXT GOAL WINS follows the American Samoa soccer team, infamous for their brutal 31-0 FIFA loss in 2001. With the World Cup Qualifiers approaching, the team hires down-on-his-luck, maverick coach Thomas Rongen (Michael Fassbender) hoping he will turn the world's worst soccer team around in this heartfelt underdog comedy.

Nicky Salapu is the Captain of the American Samoa National Team. He has been competing in the World Cup Qualifiers since 2001. To know Nicky, is to know how much passion he has for Soccer. He currently resides in Olympia with his wife Nicole, and son Dylan. When he is not working, he spends much of his time on all things soccer. From playing on his Adult team, to refereeing, as well as Coaching youth. He strives to have his passion for the game shine through to the youth that he so proudly trains.
