Celebrate the most acclaimed films of the year in style at the annual Film Awards Party. 

The 2020 Academy Awards is just around the corner! And that's not just a manner of speech: typically held at the end of February, the upcoming Oscars ceremony takes place a few weeks earlier on Sunday, February 9.

Watch a live cast of the 92nd Academy Awards on the big screen with your community at The Grand Cinema! It's been a tradition for The Grand to bring the Oscars ceremony to downtown Tacoma, and this year, we're bringing it to the theater itself.

PREMIUM TICKETS: $65 general, $60 member
– Premium seating: enjoy concierge service in the main Premium theater, or choose from the best seats in the GA theaters
– $20 food and beverage voucher
– Parking included
– Coat check included

RED CARPET FUN, PRIZES & MORE
The Film Awards Party brings the style and glamour of the Oscars to downtown Tacoma with a red carpet walk, paparazzi, photo booth, a costume contest, auction packages, local eats & treats, and a no-host bar. 

GOLDEN TICKET
Cast your own predictions ballot for a chance to win a grand prize of movies for a year at The Grand.

COSTUME CONTEST
Dress to the nines in your best suits and gowns, or... participate in our movie costume contest. Guests are encouraged to participate by dressing as their favorite character from one of this year's nominated films (or other favorite film!).
