Welcome to the 2nd Annual Tacoma Film Festival!  The Tacoma Film Festival was founded on the idea that new and emerging filmmakers should be given the opportunity to have their work shown before an audience.  We are happy to be able to present a wide range of such movies for Tacoma to see, most for the first time ever.  We invite you to share in the fun in downtown Tacoma throughout the festival, October 4-11.

The non-profit Grand Cinema is proud to be the primary host for this event.  Seventy-two films, ranging in length from two minutes to two hours, will be screened during the weeklong festival at the Grand, Tacoma Art Museum and Tacoma's School of the Arts.  Many filmmakers will be in attendance, so watch for those opportunities to interact with the moviemakers themselves. The star icon in the film's synopsis means cast and/or crew will be attending their film.

Advance tickets for all shows are available at the Grand Cinema. Day of show tickets for Tacoma Art Museum and SOTA Theater are available at the venue door half an hour prior to the show.
