The Tacoma Film Festival celebrates current independent film from around the globe. The primary focus of the festival is on art house, foreign language, independent, documentary and numerous short films. We especially encourage filmmakers from the Pacific Northwest area to submit to our festival - and attend the events, if possible! This is our time to celebrate you, the filmmaker, and the invaluable artistic talents that you provide to the film community.

The primary host, The Grand Cinema (www.GrandCinema.com) is a strong Puget Sound art house, non-profit movie theater that thrives due to the support of our volunteers, members and loyal patrons. Our small staff transforms into a Film Festival team to put on Tacoma's Film Festival every year. We strongly believe that TFF supports the Grand's mission statement - to enhance the cultural vitality of the community through the art of film. |
The submission period is now closed. The Festival staff is in the midst of making final judging decisions, and intend to notify all filmmakers of their submission status on or before August 2nd.
