For years we have talked about adding a fourth theater. For months we have been under construction. Now we are open with four theaters! The new theater opened on Christmas Day 2009 and the renovation to the lobby was completed in February, 2010. We can now bring you even more of the films you love. We are still fundraising for the project and have about $470,000 of the $520,000 project raised. Please help us complete the project funding through a donation of any amount. One popular level of giving is at the $200 level. For every $200 donation you'll get to name a seat in one of our theaters! It can be your name or in honor of another: you decide!
To see some of the progress in construction, here are a few photos for you.

Above, at the start of construction in late September, you see part of the brick wall that will remain exposed in the area where the line for tickets will be. |

The new entry into the Grand will be in the space located next to our long time entry. You can see the hole cut to connect the two areas above. The wall for the screen will be just on the left side of the 'new hole'. Photo taken Oct 1. |

On October 29 concrete is poured into the seating area to create the slope. Seats will sit on flat tiers in the new theater rather than one long gradual slope throughout. The walkway in the middle is sloped with only the sides on the flat tiers. |

The projection booth takes shape. Entry into the 4th theater will be directly across the hall from the door into our existing theater one. You can see the lower part of the door cutout at the floor between the legs of the tallest ladder. Photo taken November 9. In the below picture also taken November 9, you can see the front doors in the new space through the framing for the new wall that will later support the movie screen. To the left is the entry that connects the two spaces (see other photo above for earlier picture at the same spot) |

| November 30: the wall just inside the front doors (which will have the screen on the other side) is filled in. Compare it to the first picture above because it is just about the same location. It officially looks like a theater now! |
