Where you might still hear this 'Echo in the Canyon' Michelle Phillips hears Jade Castrinos and Jakob Dylan cover of Mamas & Papas "Go Where You Wanna Go"

The Renaissance started in Florence; Jazz emerged in New Orleans; and in the 1960s, the California Sound was born in Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles. Echo in the Canyon also acknowledges contemporary artists who were—and continue to be—inspired by the music that came out of Laurel Canyon. Read on to see my favorite Laurel Canyon-inspired artists and songs!
