THANK U, NEXT. Say goodbye to 2018 and hello to 2019 at The Grand Cinema’s all ages open house New Year’s Eve celebration!
Monday, December 31, 9 PM to 1 AM
We’re opening up the entire theater—including all four screens—for gaming, karaoke, fun short films, a photobooth, no-host bar, and more. We’ll gather round for a sparkling wine (or sparkling cider) toast and watch the ball drop at midnight.
This is an ALL AGES event!
General Admission: $15
Members of The Grand Cinema: $5
12 & under: $5
Midnight toast (sparkling wine or cider) included with admission.
Two theaters will be dedicated to video games: Wii U in one (Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros.) and Xbox One S (Halo) in the other. Revelers can also expect family-friendly animated short films, a return of CatVideoFest 2018, movie music karaoke, refreshments (our no-host bar will be open and our popcorn will be poppin’), a photobooth, a broadcast of NYC’s Times Square Ball Drop, and plenty of good, new year vibes.
Bring the whole family or come alone. The Grand will be a fun, festive, and cozy place to be merry and toast the new year. Dress fancy, invent a costume, rock a high pony, or come exactly as you are! Be ready to share which movies of 2018 taught you love, patience, and pain!
