When Krisha shows up at her sister’s Texas home on Thanksgiving morning, her close and extended family greet her with a mixture of warmth and wariness. ABOUT THE COMPOSER
Brian McOmber is a drummer, composer and biologist based on the east coast of the United States. His formal education and research in molecular genetics and evolutionary biology influenced his approach towards music production, which emphasizes experimentation, improvisation and a DIY ethos.
Brian was a member of the Grammy nominated band, Dirty Projectors (2006-2012), and has performed or recorded with an array of artists throughout the world including Alarm Will Sound, Björk, David Byrne, Doudou N’Diaye Rose, Juana Molina, Mira Calix, The Roots and St. Vincent.
