Filmmaker Q&A - Karl Marx City

Filmmakers Petra Epperlein and Michael Tucker (III) will be in attendance for both the 1:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. screenings of Karl Marx City. After each screening there will be a chance to hear from the directors and join in a Q&A discussion.
Having screened at many esteemed festivals including the NY Film Festival, Chicago Film Festival, Stockholm, and Guadalajara, Karl Marx City, now comes to screen at The Grand as part of our Tuesday Film Series.
Set twenty-five years after the collapse of the German Democratic Republic (GDR), the film follows filmmaker Petra Epperlein as she returns to the proletarian Oz of her childhood to find the truth about her late father's suicide and his rumored Stasi past.
