Slam Town, Episode Three
An Auricle Production
Created by Lucas Smiraldo
Travis Moffee, Cinematography

Slam Town is a world of spirits and prophets, poets and daemons, all laying claim to the gray city. This twenty minute film introduces a new genre, urbanized "poetry slam style" dialogue, infused with mystery in the aftermath of loss that unravels over a series of episodes. Slam Town 3 is by far the longest and most sophisticated of these episodes following the release of episodes one and two last year. Those early films were supported by a grant from the Tacoma Arts Commission. The Slam Town franchise continues to roll forward as a Tacoma invention.

Slam Town will have one showing on Saturday, May 26, 2012. Tickets are $10 preferably by cash or check and include a spot at the after film reception which will occur immedately after the show. Join members of the innovative cast, artists who helped write and perform the work, and members of the film crew. The reception follows immediately after with dessert fare and beverage. Only 60 seats remain so you MUST RSVP (vanillasoul@clear.net) in order to assure your place at the showing. DVD's of the first three episodes as well as never before seen extras will also be available for $10 at the showing.
