Two filmmakers from 2010

Jan 21, 2011

Filmmakers Rashaad Ernesto Green and Marc Fratello, who each attended screenings of their work in Tacoma last August for the Grand Cinema's inaugural Filmmaker Magazine "25 New Faces of Independent Film" event, have both had films accepted to the Sundance Film Festival later this month.

Green's film at Sundance is his first feature film, Gun Hill Road.  Fratello will screen the same startling short film that played in Tacoma, Babyland.  The quality of each filmmaker's work is amazing and the Grand Cinema is excited to have had them as guests to our theater.

The "25 New Faces" event will take place again at the Grand this August with a new group of filmmakers.  Watch for more details as we approach the spring and summer.
